Have you ever thought about the cost of logistics?
How much money are you wasting?

Many times the cost of logistics is higher than the de-burring costs.

LOGISTICS IS NOT ONLY THE TRANSPORTATION COST.

Logistics is taking the die-cast piece, put it in a basket, stacking the baskets, loading them on a truck, retrieve them once again, restack them, check them again and ship the pieces.
You also have to consider how much you spend for storage space, how much you have to pay your staff for handling and controlling the flow.

If the pieces are light and small, the operations to be done are quite few and cheap (so the logistics costs are never justified), if the pieces are large and heavy, the logistics is expensive.

Once upon a time there was no choice but today yes!

You need to install universal robotized deburring machines.
Machines that allow deburring of pieces to be carried out in a way that is flexible and easy to use.

Many times these machines can be put in the manufacturing line, annulling the costs of logistics.
Other times this is not possible, but in any case the logistics costs are outmatched!

Do not think you are the only one; there are a thousand foundries that waste money in logistics.

On the other hand, until yesterday deburring the pieces was a problem, or better yet, it was a series of problems:

– long re-set times

I must confess that it was not easy and we think that the road to perfection is still long and winding.
We have been working on this for 15 years and many solutions are mature and well proven.

I think it’s ABSOLUTELY TRUE!

To solve the problems listed above the machine must have the following:
– an integral seating
– the right sized robot, series and model
– viewing systems for loading the pieces
– a simplified user interface
– adaptive robotic programs
– compensated work units
– multi-tool work units
– soundproofed cabins.

If the machines have these features, the logistics costs are easily outmatched.

In addition, having chosen the pathway of specialization, we have managed to reduce the cost of the machines and to make them more accessible to all.
