It is the end of the year and it is statement time and it is time for a few days of well-earned rest.

For me this year has been very positive.

We did great things and I was proud to tell you many stories, which happened every week.

If you follow me on this blog regularly, you might have noticed that this year we have developed new innovative solutions.

I have helped clients in robotizing their process.

It is the end of the year, everything went well, all is going well…

But there is a problem!


For our suppliers it is increment time.

Yes, you have got it right; with the New Year my German electrical and electronic component suppliers are going to change their price list!

They take advantage of this time by bringing me seasonal greetings and the traditional price increase!

Usually I have to increase the machinery prices too.


But this year I have a PRESENT for you…


…I made an agreement with my suppliers…

I had to give up the Christmas cake they usually bring me as a gift to check this agreement.

I must confess that it has not been easy.

My staff and I handled a lot for hours… We showed our growth data we did over the last few years.  We also had to draw up our growth expectations for the coming year…. I felt really like David and Goliath… but in the end we got it: we threw the stone against the giant!!!

Only we (don’t tell it to our competitors) can have an extra supply for the next 8 months of getting the components at the same price as this year!

And I don’t want to earn on you, I’m an engineer; I’d like to solve client’s problems and install as many machine as I possibly can. I don’t want to earn behind your backs… so I have decided to keep the same machinery prices for the next months.

I couldn’t work miracles by getting any component at the old price. I had to identify a set of products.

So I have chosen to get social prices for all products, which are necessary to build our standard machines.

There have been many enquires and there are not enough components at this special price for everybody.
